Can I save money on my contact lenses?

Can I claim through my health fund?

Yes. We provide you with an itemised receipt that you can supply to your private health fund in order to receive your benefits.

Do I need a prescription to order through Cyberlens?

Yes. You cannot order contact lenses unless you have been fitted for contact lenses from a registered optometrist or eye care provider and your prescription must be valid and not be older than 24 month.

If you do not have a current copy of your prescription you will find your contact lens prescription on the boxes of your lenses. If you need help ordering you can simply call us on 1300 859 570 and we can help you over the phone.

Please note that when ordering contact lenses from us, you are responsible for entering the correct contact lens information according to your contact lens prescription.

We do reserve the right to cancel any transactions if we feel the above conditions are not met.

If you are unsure of your prescription details simply provide us with a contact phone number for your optometrist and we can verify the details for you.

I only have a copy of my spectacle prescription. Can I place an order using it?

No. As contact lenses have different optical properties to spectacles the prescription needed is different. If you only have a spectacle prescription you will need to visit your eye care practitioner in order to be fitted for contact lenses.

Can I order coloured contact lenses without a prescription?

No. Even if you do not need your vision to be corrected, you would need a prescription for coloured contact lenses. This is to ensure that the size and type of contact lens is suitable for your eyes.

What are the delivery options? How much does it cost?

All deliveries are sent by Express Post within Australia. Delivery is a standard $12.00.  There is no additional postage cost if you order a Savings Pack with your contact lenses.

  • Victorian Country 3-5 Days
  • Interstate 3 - 7 Days

How Long Until My Lenses Are Dispatched?

Bausch and Lomb : 3-4 Working Days until dispatch

Ciba : 2-3 Working Days  until dispatch

Cooper Vision : 1-2 Working Days  until dispatch

Gelflex : 1-2 Working Days  until dispatch

Johnson and Johnson : 2-3 Working Days until dispatch

Please note that is a rough indication only.  We do unfortunately experience delays from time to time with our suppliers and occasional back orders.  We will email you if this occurs.

How reliable is your mail order service?

We have been in the contact lens business for 34 years and pioneered mail order contacts 20 years ago, so our track record speaks for itself. Simply click the how to order button and follow the prompts.

We use Express Post from Australia Post for all deliveries. Since April 2013, Australia Post no longer guarantees or offers compensation for any missing or lost parcels.  Due to our low prices we are not responsible for any parcels that are lost in transit or undelivered, even if Australia Post has delivered your parcel and you have not received it.  If you have any queries  please contact us before placing an order to see if we can offer an alternative method of delivery.

What are my payment options?

All transactions are done securely via Paypal

What happens if my prescription changes?

We are happy to exchange any unopened boxes of lenses purchased from Cyberlens if you happen to have a change in prescription. The contact lenses must have at least 12 months left before their expiry. Please contact us before returning any lenses.

What do I do if I have a faulty lens?

We are able to replace lenses which are defective due to a manufacturer’s fault. Please do not dispose of the contact lens as it must be forwarded to the manufacturer to obtain a replacement. Please contact us before returning any lenses.

GOOD EYE DEA

Whenever you return to your eye care practitioner, remember to ask for a copy of your contact lens prescription.  It is your property by law.
